Sweden has a long winter and a lot of snow, but also warm summers and that famous midnight sun. Swedes are fond of nature, and Stockholm was voted Europe’s first green capital in 2010. In fact, it’s even possible to swim or fish in the city center.
The Millennium Language Institute has been offering the Swedish course in the city of São Paulo since we opened the first unit in Brazil in 1997.
The demand for Swedish courses is mainly due to a greater interest in culture, including the work of the great theater and film director Ingmar Bergman, in addition to music, of course.
Many also seek out the Swedish course at Millennium to prepare for college, graduate or exchange studies in Sweden. Several of our students have already passed TISUS, which is the official Swedish exam to enter Swedish universities, and are now studying or have already completed the course.
